The star midfielder Played in a forward position out wide while also put in defensive duties. Showed glimpses of brilliance but scuffed a shot wide. Replaced in the closing stages for a teammate, his competition, following a yellow card. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's best chance of the first half, his effort smartly stopped by the Albanian keeper. With a teammate holding position, it fell to him to provide width down the right side although his balls into the box were hit and miss. Substituted with 15 to go. 6

The captain The difference-maker with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes at international level. His first a classic poacher’s finish and his next a superb finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Now 32, he continues to improve and the side are strong contenders next summer when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass by Bellingham but Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5/10
