Rallying from a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.
While the Rams had become the first to earn a playoff berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a two-year hiatus.
With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's race with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four record.
