Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amid Widespread Military Operations.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed strikes throughout the Middle East in response for a "massive" and ongoing attack against it by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an vicinity in the area of the main base of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any damage is uncertain and the United States has not commented.
Regional Interceptions
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - all home to American military installations - said they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had successfully engaged a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
IRGC Statement
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was attacking US bases and assets as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the strikes on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That US-Israeli operation - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted locations associated with the Iranian leadership, with President Trump encouraging the people of Iran to revolt against the government.

In Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israeli military said it had detected an incoming Iranian missile barrage.
The defence ministry of the United Arab Emirates said in a statement that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems engaged the projectiles with notable success and shot down a several projectiles," it added.
It said debris fell on a residential area in Abu Dhabi, causing some structural damage and the death of one civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
